Selfie verification
Verify your profile with a live selfie. We keep a few frames and a numeric face template made on your phone, and use them to match your main photo now and to check any new main photo later. Only our team sees the frames.

Block and report
Block anyone from their profile or a chat. Blocked people cannot see you or contact you again. Report anything that feels wrong and every report is reviewed by our safety team.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Findr's in app report tools review accounts after the fact, not emergencies in progress.
What others see, and what we check
- What your profile showsControl who sees your distance, your age and specific photos. Distance is approximate and your exact location is never shared.
- Voice and video checksBefore a voice prompt goes live, its sound is turned into text automatically to look for strong language. Video frames are checked on your phone for nudity.
- People can reviewA person may review any of these checks, and you can see the outcome in the app.

- Meet in publicChoose a public place for your first few dates.
- Video chat firstHave a video call before meeting in person.
- Share your plansTell a friend where you are going and who with.
- Never send moneyFindr matches will never ask you for money.

Community guidelines
Everyone on Findr deserves to feel respected and safe. By using Findr you agree to these guidelines, which sit alongside our Terms of Service:
- Be genuine. Represent yourself honestly, with your own photos and real information.
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination of any kind.
- Be safe: no soliciting money, running scams, or promoting commercial services.
- No content involving minors, in any context, is ever permitted.
- Report, don't retaliate. Use the block/report tools instead of engaging with bad behavior.
Accounts that violate these guidelines may be warned, suspended, or permanently removed at Findr's discretion, particularly in cases involving harassment, harm, or illegal content.
