Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Findr mobile app and findr.date website (together, the "Service"), operated by Findr ("we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

Findr is a dating app intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Findr, you represent that you meet this requirement, that all information you provide is accurate, and that you have not been convicted of, or are not required to register as, a sex offender.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity on your account. You may only maintain one account, and it must represent you: not a business, pet, or another person.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or abuse other users;
• Post or send content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
• Solicit money, promote a commercial service, or run scams or fraud;
• Share another person's private information without consent;
• Upload content depicting minors in any context, or otherwise exploitative content;
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures, scrape the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.

4. User-generated content & moderation

You are solely responsible for the photos, videos, voice prompts, messages, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your User Content within the Service so that we can operate and provide it to you and, where relevant, to other users (for example, showing your profile photos to potential matches).

Findr provides in-app tools to report and block other users and their content. We may review reports, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, at our discretion and without prior notice, particularly in cases involving harassment, harm, or illegal content.

5. Safety

Findr is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the Service, including at in-person meetings. Always meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, and use the in-app safety features (report, block, Safety Center) if something feels wrong. We do not conduct criminal background checks on users.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, harmed other users, or exposed us to risk or legal liability.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will meet a compatible match or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Findr and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
